MRA have now developed there full range of screens for the XT1200Z. Twisted Throttle do stock MRA screens and can probably get you whatever you need from the range. I was looking to see if there were any low fly screens ..... there are ;D You may find that you'll need something lower for crazy off road riding. I know I do. The link is in the modifications database.

You're not wrong SpeedStar .... I've had a couple. Superbly manufactured, look good and the adjustable element actually works. Certainly a product I'd consider.

Twistedthrottle, will you also offer the MRA mini screen and the other sizes that they show on their site? If not something you stock, can you order them?

As luck would have it "Mr. Twisted" came back into the office so we were able to set the price on the Vario TouringScreen It is live on the site now and available for sale. As I said before there are 5 clear and 5 smoke gray in stock right now. all at the same price of $149.99

We also have 5 clear, 5 somke gray and 1 gloss black of the MRA TouringScreen for the S10 in stock but I haven't built the web page yet. The price on this screen is $105 and looks like this:

TuoringScreen shown here in gloss black

Ironically I was just creating the catalog page for MRA screens in the 2011 Twisted Catalog so here is some of the copy on the TouringScreen:
Designed to enhance ridabiliy. Think of the TouringScreen as an extension of the original screen. MRA evaluates and designs each screen for every application based on the unique ride chachteristics and profile of the machine. The goal of the TouringScreen is to deflect wind pressure away from the riderensuring an easy and relaxing ride - especially on long trips.
Hope this answers a few questions...

The plan is to stock the TouringScreen and the Vario TouringScreen. As with everything else here at Twisted Throttle - if you want it we will get it for you. Since the bikes won't be stateside until May this next bit doesn't seems so bad for most - it will take a m0nth to six weeks to get the other styles which are not regular stocking items. If you call the Customer Service Hotline 401.284.4200 and tell them what you want they will get it for you.

I bought the MRA Vario from you for my 08 KLR and like it a lot. Looks like this one will be the ticket for the S10.

Will you have a rep at the Indy Dealer Show in Feb?

I had one on one of my V-Stroms. Quite effective and relatively easy to adjust "on the fly".

I haven't tried the TouringScreen but the Vario "Wing" or "Blade" can be adjusted at a traffic light. There are 7 positions that the wing clicks into that adjust the height and angle. It makes a huge difference in air flow. One distinct advantage of the vario blade is that it helps to reduce the air pressure and turbulence behind the screen.

I concur with Twisted Throttles comments. I found these to be very good. I'll not put a vario on my XT though .... will use the Wasp screen adjuster with a couple of MRA screens. One shortie for off-road and a smoked regular size for everyday messin'

I know for liability reasons the manufacturer and their retailers tell you not to adjust the Vario while riding, but having one on my 08 KLR, I can tell you that it is easy to do. Heck, a lot of the places I ride don't even have traffic lights! :)

Same here on the Wasp adjuster, except I plan to use the stock screen. From what I can tell Greg's adjuster is similar (but better) to the Madstad setup - which I found to be the best setup possible on my V-Strom.
