Yup, and people I ride with, don't care what bike you ride. If they did, I wouldn't ride with them.

I mean, there's a lot of joking and making fun of, but that's all in good humour and not real. :)

Plus, when you ride away from someone who has superior horsepower, and has paid a lot more for their bike than you did, isn't that just the best ;)

I got my ZE 2nd hand 3300 mls mint condition and saved a heap of cash. The reality is the S10 is a really solid 2nd hand buy because you dont have as much worry over the potential big bills comming your way.

One thing that keeps coming out no matter who is evaluating the motorcycle and i have seen this for years is they don't own the bikes. They don't have to pay for them and they don't have to fix them. they ride them like they stole them and evaluate them as only a weekend toy. Now most of the articles i read try to play that off like they are using them as real world everyday vehicles but that just isn't the case. People like me who use the bikes for real every single day have to read between the lines as to what would work for someone who likes a little play but needs a bike for a tool and every day use. I will be the first to say the Super Tenere is a long way from perfect but every single article i have read has left this bike way short of its real potential and absolutely do not give it credit where credit is due. It is a wonderful tool that can be used every day and doesn't need much care at all. I am proof of that as many of you all can say too. It is funny every single problem the authors of the articles i read on the Super Tenere had, i have has zero issues in any way or form. then i have had other issues that they never mentioned. I still enjoy to read others reviews of bikes. I am motorcycle nuts and always want to know more about them. I have been around long enough to know pretty much what i like and how to determine what will work for me though.

I love the ST. It all in my name. Lost as in I live for adventure. Donkey, due to the fact that whilst it’s no show pony or thoroughbred it is super reliable, can go (mostly) anywhere, more cost effective than the rest, and can cope with a fair bit of abuse and miss-use (not that I would ever do so to a real donkey...)

Why I'm still running the Super Ten.

I really enjoy riding many of the Beemers and do admire the bikes technically. While I know Dirt_Mom and others love theirs, I have no desire to be a Beta tester, go through BMWt recalls, or other ownership issues.

there was a time ago, another recall referring to the front spokes. I think that "maybe" problems should occur when trying to do a hard off road, with a motorcycle that weighs 500 lbs. Something similar to using the T7 as a trial, as in the Bimota videos
