I have a 2013 and would like a bit more hp. Suggestions that won't break the bank?

ECU Program in this bike from the factory cut it's balls off. ???
Get the reflash restrictions gone and you will have a big grin when you check back.
Search the forum and read the results, all us flashers have the grin. ;D
Another upgrade you may want to look into before total exhaust overhaul is the clutch basket.
Although not completely necessary it was the first thing i did on the list before the flash.
A 95% improvement over the old one with WOW factor. So much so it's now the only clutch basket on Yamaha's parts list for all year Tenere's.

Did they finally supersede the part #? Remember when warranty wouldn't swap the numbers?

Does the clutch basket update apply to both Gen 1 and Gen 2 bikes? Or just gen1? Have a Gen2 and hadn't heard about this so interested in hearing more if it affects Gen 2s..

Only Gen 1 bikes are afflicted, swaps are made with Gen 2 baskets

Any feedback on the yoshimura rs4?

I put a Yoshi RS 4 and then got Anthony's flash done on my 2012 just last month. All I can say is I should have done this a long time ago. I debated about the muffler for months, I mean almost a whole freaking year. I can say that it was worth the little extra grunt or sound that it puts out. When it comes to the power it felt as if I gained a bit of low end torque. I've been told that about every aftermarket muffler will yield about 5hp somewhere in the powerband.
Want to hear the grunt, get on it... want to be quiet, just get of the throttle a bit. I also did the throttle body adjustment at the same time as the muffler, so I can't say that it was the muffler or the throttle body adj, but it seemed smoother off the start right away. The only issue with the Yoshi is I find myself getting into it.
Then came the flash from Anthony. Holy cow!!! I'm so happy that I found a thread here about this. I had no idea what I was missing out on. I bike feels so free now. After riding the flash from another inmate here on the forums and being able to ride my bike and his back to back, it felt like my stock bike had an anchor behind it. Cruising down the highway at 80mph it feels smooth and happy now.
If I only had the money to do one of the options above it would definitely be the flash.
