Got about 7000 miles out of them. Then I put the bike in my trailer and went to Cody, Wyoming. Pulled the bike out and found a large sidewall crack.

Anyone know where I can get a set of Mitas E07 dakars in Wyoming?

Was there small minor cracks appearing before the big one?

I saw mini cracks appearing on the Front tire (Tourance EXP), and had it changed before my big trip. Tire was already 6 years old, and used 10k km. Still plenty of threads but not going to take the risk. My rear with the same age, seems to have no cracks. On 14k km and still has a couple thousand km left.

The tires have a great deal of life left, they were only installed last fall. The DOT code is 0415, so the tires are two years old, Bike is stored in a garage.

The tires look dry rotted on the sidewalls. I was running 44psi rear 34 front. I did have the bike tied down in the garage of my trailer for 3300 miles which could have been enough pressure on the tire to cause it to crack. It's the only explanation I imagine. I have been doing alot of offroad riding with them, and have not been gentle with the throttle.
