Hi all, I'm really pleased with how well the event went, and the fantastic weather we had.

Unfortunately, there is some very sad news to pass along. I think it's best to bring everyone in on the information on this thread, click here.

Bullet points from me:
  • Rode the TAT (in TN to Jellico) up there, hit some rain and had an amazing pepperoni roll in VA
  • Had a great time up there, the town is great. The diner is still a good spot to go eat
  • Curtis, and the guy from Louisville, hope to see you all again
  • Enjoyed seeing all my old friends
  • Sara/Sarah I hope that popcorn was good. Less Bourbon next time
  • Talked to Mike just before he left
  • Rode the MABDR back home
  • Mark is a badass, rode like an old dog the whole time

Does someone have a good photo of Mike? If so, please post it

On Friday, June 2, we presented what was collected from out 102 attendees to The Potomac Center and the total came to be $4,084.65. The fellow in the dark blue shirt is Rick Harshbarger, CEO, Kim who directs operations is in the light blue, and many of you will remember Wendy and Scott in the back.

THANK YOU ALL for making this happen!!!

We are not yet sure when there will be another Camp-N-Ride event so stay tuned.

I was watching Rick's face as he heard the dollar amount. Stunned, best describes what I saw. He had heard an earlier amount and clearly had no idea we were about to pass him more than $4K. It was a great moment, made possible by all of you generous people who attended, contributed, and participated in what felt like the best Camp N Ride we've ever had.

It was not our largest crowd, but it was the highest dollar amount we've ever been able to contribute. I am so pleased to be associated with such a fantastic group of people. You guys made a positive impression everywhere you went. Thanks for making the 2023 Camp N Ride such a great event.

Wreckchecker and I spoke with Kevin yesterday. He also thought it was the best event we've had. Based on what was said, I do believe there will be another Camp N Ride in the future. I'm not willing to speculate on exactly when. Like Wreckchecker said...stay tuned.
