I was planning to go this year, never been before. Honestly I don't really plan or research much. Just typically pull the trigger and go. Watching your first video now has me questioning. Too many RV's, too many campers and grounds look kinda open and sterile.

The small valley that the event is located in doesn't give me that feeling. But there are campers, Rv's and tents. It's getting more popular every year I'm sure.
I've only been once. Went alone and had a great time.

I'm not into crowds or riding those roads with a bunch of wound up riders... for that reason, I avoid MMM.

I guess I'm spoiled since its just a few hours ride to that area fir me to ride whenever.

I went last year for the first time and loved it. Did not take the Tenere though because I wanted to do harder trails, so the DRZ got dragged out. Lots of fun events at night, good food, and a wide variety of off road as well as great pavement. Already signed up for this years event. To the haters that think all GS riders hang out at Starbucks, you should see what some of these guys do on them at this event.

I know this is kind of a dead thread but the event is next week so I figured it would be ok to revive it.

This will be my first time attending MMM. Camping on site with 3 other friends (DR650, Husky 510, and an Africa Twin). I will be on my '13 Super Ten. I hope to see some other Super Tens there!
