If you need more air. You just lower it and lean it back. You'll get a serious air blast. I'm 6' 3" and a Madstad 22" is just right.

Removed the risers and returned to stock. My hand guards still contact the screen if it’s angled beyond halfway back or higher than almost all the way down. Guess I’ll have to find a brother to compare bikes and see if any further mods where made. Looks all normal to me.

6'3", 2015 Super Tenere.
First I installed Yamaha side deflectors. Then I installed the Madstad bracket with 22" Madstad screen and no matter how hard I tried the noise and the buffeting were not acceptable for by 300-400 miles-a day rides. I installed the OEM Super Tenere windshield back and added a MRA x creen deflector, played with the angle and the height of the MRA screen and found a very pleasing combination. It's on my sight line when I look forward about 2-3 cars distance. It's perfect for long rides on the paved roads. When I do some serious twisties or light off-roading, I lower the MRA screen to the level of the Yamaha windshield and it works just fine for me. I noticed that the 22" MadStad windshield created a rougher air flow and more noise than the OEM windshield.

When I purchased my S10 it had a Madstad bracket on it. The previous owner had cut 2" off the original 22 " Givi windshield. I am thinking of ordering another 22" to cut down on the wind noise. When you talk about adding a MRA, what are you talking about? I am new to the S10 world.

I think it may be helmets causing this. I've got a cheap helmet that is turbulent and Arai that doesn't do it.
