tomorrow is a Saturday the weather is for cast for 75 as a high .... going to watch an off road race about an hour from my house ... Texas Off Road Championship Series or TORCS for short . if not rained out . my friend Carrot is going with me , he has an interest in trying his hand at one of these races .... if he does I will be his very ugly umbrella girl , Moto support , and what ever else he might want me to do. this is a 10 race series , because of c19 they did 7 out of 10 this past year . should be a great show . if all works well I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Terry the main thing is have your buddy read the rules and course makings of the race before entering. Most important rule is the 25 foot outside the course for passing. Have to be careful though. Some of the clubs make it next to impossible for passing. Also he needs to study course markings for drop offs and road crossings.

The weather was cool but not cold . The track was a sandy loam with enough moisture to give good grip . More open track than woods seemed fairly simple nothing to scary for the riders . Every one was extremely friendly . And no one wore a mask . But most stayed a respectable distance one from another . If there were a group it was a family group it seemed . Carrot my main riding buddy and close friend is thinking about entering the next race in February. I get to be his very ugly umbrella girl . We had a great time. The little kids were rocking it on their small bikes, and some bold and talented ladies rode hard today . And I’m a sucker for a dog , they make me smile.

idid not take my bike as I had never been to this track ,and as carrot was going to meet me the logistics was easier for us both to leave bikes behind , so I ,we ,walked every where . thinking 3 plus miles of walking , I needed that exercise . slept good last night.
