I snuck over to the dealer and bought a cool Guzzi T-shirt and put it in his top box as a gift. He picked up his new bike yesterday and from his comments he liked the shirt .

So I wander over to the Vespa line and actually sit on one . This ain’t so bad . I’m actually thinking I might want one. 80 mpg , up to 80mph ( not sure I would ever ride a scooter that fast ) thinking it might be fun around here. In the photo I was doing my best riding impression . I just might do it .

well in the summer heat break from riding the Beta I decided to perform some maintenance ..... transmission fluid changed and new and oiled up air cleaner installed .... cleaned the chain , and ran out of time to do anything else .
I haul the bike on a receiver hitch carrier , but now have a new trailer that is 6x10 with ramp . added a tie down system to carry 2 bikes and with some fancy placement maybe 4 bikes even. when finished I will post some pictures .

So during the summer in central Texas riding break there are things to do . Honey do list , my list , always the work list. Almost nothing fun list . So I decided to get my trailer ready to haul lawnmower or bikes or what ever . Bought a track system from Rocky Mountain to tie the bikes or whatever in the trailer.

I like it, but, four bikes will be tight. They'll have to be overlapped, with some creative strapping.

you are correct . 2 facing forward 2 facing the rear is the plan . the rear of the bikes would over lap and there are enough tie down points to be creative . mostly it will haul 2 bikes at most but possibly haul more . I have 16 of the tie down rings ,4 per bike. I have to get more screws this morning , ran short .

my newly rigged up trailer is being put to the test by my neighbor "trail boss ". he decided to go on a trip to Arkansas and take 2 buddies , his trailer will haul 2 bikes , mine should be able to haul 3 .... it will be tight . the bikes on the trailer will be an Africa twin , a KTM890 and a 1250 gs . I meant it for hauling dirt bikes around , so this will put it to the "test" for sure. I should have a picture of the loaded trailer soon.

Africa twin was already in the truck so they opted to leave it there . Hard to tell by photo how much room to load third bike on trailer. 54469C9F-A67F-441D-A867-578CF57B9953.jpeg
