I have both gen 1 and gen 2 lowering links.

I'll pay shipping to lower 48.

Gen 2 lowering links $45.

Gen 1 lowering links $35.

This is everything needed to lower a Tenere. Will lower a Gen 1 by approx. 2 inches. Will lower a Gen 2 by 2.1 inches. This allowed my 5' 6" wife to ride both generations of Tenere for 7 years.

$260 includes shipping to lower 48.

Seat Concepts lower Tenere seat. She loved this seat and if it could have moved to her new GS she would have kept it.

This is a generation 1 steel kick stand that we shortened for her 2012 Tenere. It worked very well. We moved it over to her 2017 and it continued to serve perfectly. It will activate the kickstand switch on either generation.

It could use some touch up paint, but I assume you will do a better job of that than I would.

OR

If you have a Gen 1 bike I also have the Gen 1 lowering links. They are different and not interchangeable. Just let me know what generation you have.

After installing these, the only remaining thing to do is drop the front forks in the triple tree to keep the same geometry and ride. I had years of switching between a factory height Tenere and my wife's bike. With the geometry setup correctly the bikes ride exactly the same.
Ok, many thanks for your first hand information about the lowering links.
I have a Gen two 2018 ES. I bought a set of lowering links just as depicted in your photo. I was most concerned about altering the dynamics of the bike, not to mention the additional adjustments that would have to be completed. Triple tree adjustment, side stand lowered along with having to run the rear tyre onto a 2x4 to elevate the rear wheel to allow the centre stand to be deployed.
Instead, I got lucky and found a very gently used Yamaha lower seat and installed some shorter rubber bumpers, and presto!!!! I'm a happy camper. In a perfect world the seat height could be lower by 20 mm or as you say 3/4 in.
But thanks for your input, appreciated.

My pleasure. My wife rode over 30k miles on lowered Teneres, and enjoyed it all.

I'm super interested in the seat but not the rest of the kit. Let me know if you get to a point where you'll split it up.

That will be my next step if it doesn't sell as a kit. I'll send you a PM if I get to that point.

Seat has been sold. So down to links and shortened kick stand...which is currently in the paint shop. Will post it again soon.
