I have the seat concept seat and love it, but if you are thinking about one, it does raise the front of the seat about an inch, the height of the rear of the seat does no change, this leveles the seat so you are not constantly sliding forward on the seat into the gas tank, but if you where marginal in touching the floor with your foot when stationary with the stock seat, the additional height could be an issue, just something to be aware of.. Have had the seat 2+ years and still very happy with it.

It really depends on what your riding style is and what you're looking for. I have a Sargent seat that is firm and good for shorter rides. It's stock width so it's ideal for offroad compared to my RDL. My RDL is perfect for days I'm the saddle but is wide and not ideal for offroad riding.
So what sort of riding are you doing? Do you like soft, firm or hard seats?

I have a Saddleman. Hard seat but can go all day on it so it works! Only issue is that I tend to slide to the front of the seat, wish it was a little higher in the front. My 2015 bought used had it already. My 2012 ,that I bought new, had the stock seat and I thought it was pretty good.

I would like to upgrade the seat on my ‘13 ST.
I've have Seat Concepts now, which I really like a lot. Just finished a 9 state, 3 province 3,800 mile trip to Gander, Newfoundland from Pittsburgh. Best seat I've ever had. Sent them the pan of my original seat, they called me to get height, weight, riding style, waist, inseam, everything but my favorite ice cream flavor. Seat came back in 3 weeks and is a great improvement over stock. Kept the original pillion as I rarely ride with a passenger. I last used a set of Sargent seats (black with blue piping) which are for sale on this site. I liked the Sargent seat, but it's not sufficiently padded for my taste, and it doesn't prevent the forward slide as well as the Seat Concepts. I also tried a Touratech for a month or so. Better padded, but same slide forward issue as the Sargent. I've done the "flatten the seat" mod on stock seat, the Sargent and the Touratech, but none were as good as the Seat Concepts. The SC is a bit taller, but I'm still nearly flat footed on it when in riding position, and fully flat footed when I slide forward to the tank. I'm 6', 215lbs, 38/32 pants. My bike is a 2019 STen.

I've had a Terry's seat for 8 years and no complaints. I haven't checked his prices in years. But he was way cheaper than the others and had a core seat. I didn't have to send my seat to him until he sent me my new seat. No down. I tried a Seat Concepts. I didn't think it was much different than my stock seat. I had a Corbin too. It was too hard for me. You could try an Air Hawk. They work on any seat. Keep the but crack cooler too.

I had Terry Abcox make a custom seat for me this Spring. I put over 9000 miles on it in less than 30 days and was never uncomfortable. He does a phenomenal job on his seats and he’s very reasonably priced.
can you define reasonable a little bit please - reasonable for one might be outta the budget for another ;)
