We're planning to head over and ride NW Arkansas after GP in Austin this year. Looking for a decent RV campground. Preferably a nice one with heated pool and hot tub.

There will be 3 or 4 of us and a toy hauler. April in MN is dicey, ya cant bank on getting back in if you do get out, so we trailer that time of year.

So post up or send me a PM. We will be camped at the track in Austin, anyone heading that way welcome to join us for beers at day end. Same goes for once we get to Arkansas. Once we're landed, come join us for beers or riding.

I don't know of any RV parks that would have a heated pool or hot tub unfortunately.

For RV parks in NW Arkansas, I would suggested looking at Winn Creek RV Park near Winslow (south of Fayetteville) off I-49.

There is a state park (Devil's Den) near Winslow. Most of the state parks have nice campgrounds and are set up nice for RV's and campers with some sites with full hookups. The Corps of Engineers operates parks on Beaver Lake east of Rogers which would have some nice campgrounds.

There are some RV parks around Branson, MO which I have heard are nice and that is not too far from NW Arkansas.

I hope this helps...

If you're a smart phone user, there's an app called ParkAdvisor that can be really helpful for locating campsites wherever you are. It lists private campgrounds, state and national parks, national forests, etc. Just zoom to the area that you're interested in camping, and the app will show the available camping places in that area. It's pretty useful. It's free, and available in the Google store. I'm fairly certain it's also available for Apple users.

This thread was from last year but we are going again this year so the resurrection is timely! Last year we ended up at Wanderlust RV Park in Eureka Springs. Decent RV park, decent pricing, great owners / host's. And the host's are or were riders. Probably go back there for another helping this year.

That said, I did not have the App you describe. Notice I used past tense. Thanks much for the tip!
