I've had 3 different ones from Saddlemen. I don't remember the model names, but the first one was on my last HD (an AMF POS), then one on a KZ1000 Shaft drive, and last one was an '87 ZG1000 Concours. I sent my seat to them and they built me a beautiful diamond pleated seat very similar to what they call the "Road Sofa" now. I was very pleased with all three of their seats - excellent quality. For the Super 10 their standard models are the Adventure Tour and the Adventure Track. I don't know how good those are because they're way different from the ones that I had, but these new ones have MUCH more advanced materials than what was available in the 70's and 80's. I believe they'll still build you a custom seat if you want one, but the present stock ones look quite interesting. Saddlemen Tenere Seats

Byron. I have the dreaded NoAssAtAll to. Check out Terrys custom seats. He's got a site with pictures. I've got one and it's fine. I can ride all day no problem. WAY cheaper than the rest of the custom seats. $250 and he has cores so no waiting on a seat. I've had seat concepts (no better than stock), corbin (nice but kinda hard) and Terrys. It's by far the best for my sensitive tush. I've been using a sit & fly two summers and really dig it too. https://www.terryscustomseats.com/
Ditto on Terry's seats. The stock seat was better after the bumper mod, but not enough support and I could not stand the grippy cover. Terry's seat did the trick for me (and my small bony ass). I might try adding the sit n fly for those hot shweaty days of riding.

Backrest came from Utopia.
When you lean against your backrest does your butt touch the bottom of the rear seat? I'm thinking of ordering a Utopia backrest but can't stand the irritating feel of the passenger seat against my butt.

No. You choose where to mount it. It's adjustable up and down and front to back. Get one you'll dig it.

I have a Russel Day long. It did the trick. If I had it to do over would give Terry’s Custom seat a try. Less money and shipping. All the reviews seem to have it on par with Russel. I had backrests with my Harley’s, they mad a huge difference. With ridding position of the Supper Tenere I find their is little benefit or need for a backrest. Even with rox risers and seat leveling mod, I find my self supported by the handle bars due to a slight lean forward seat position. I can hang for 14 hours with the Russel day long no backrest.
