Folks, if you're in the Galveston TX area this coming weekend, stop by the Lone Star Rally (www.lonestarrally.com) and check out all the bikes, music, etc.
Yamaha is doing demos there, and I'm told by a local dealer that there should be at least one Super Tenere available for a spin! Of course, it was a salesman who told me, so take that for what it's worth!
Hours of the Yamaha demo are:
Thursday, November 3 10 AM - 5 PM
Friday, November 4 10 AM - 5 PM
Saturday, November 5 10 AM - 5 PM
Sunday, November 6 10 AM - 3 PM
Be sure to get there VERY early (or even the day before) if you want to get a ride on a Super T!! Or check out one of the other bikes!
I plan on stopping by and will have my Super T with me. And if anyone who's planning to do the ride to Big Bend wants to come by and chat about the ride...PM me and we can meet up and chat. Even if you're not, it's a great event overall and there will be lots of bikes there to see and enjoy. Bring earplugs, as you can be sure that the "Loud Pipes Save Lives" crowd will be heavily represented!
