For Heavens' sake PLEASE don't get into politics here. We all get so bombarded with it, more is just aggravating, no matter which side you are on.
Just drop it or head off to Facebook or Twitter or anywhere else.
Thanks

CW , actually I'm tired of the politics that effects everything it seems .... trying to watch unwatchable football , no fans in the stadiums and fake canned fan noise being piped onto the sound track ..... every person on the field has been tested and retested , I hate the mask . tried watching wrestling once a while back , no fans no noise , just loud smack from the wrestlers . without the fans to draw attention away from the ring the fake ness was so very obvious . on the Philly Washington game they even had the stadium announcer doing his thing , no fans in the stadium . this is what drives me crazy and it should make us all crazy . it's covered in fake everything.... and when a player scores the fake crowd roars even more.

hard to take things when the effort to cover it with fake stuff is so obvious . no fans in the stands should be no fan noise . simple . but people will quit watching , so give them some fake . and on it goes.

Here's what the 'Rona looks like in your lungs (please see attached photos). It is taken near the trachea where the small fibers "filter" things like mucus, dirt particles, etc.

Taken from a scanning electron microscope.

I know that I don't want that stuff in my lungs, and I don't want to be responsible for spreading it. No one knows long term effects.

I teach mechanical engineering at Montana State, and the MSU President sends weekly encouragement to the students to follow social distancing and to wear their masks. "Do your part." Compliance is very high. Infection rates are low. Much of the control of the spread can be attributed to mask wearing and keeping your distance.

Wearing a mask is a VERY small inconvenience. We're able to begin to open bozeman because people are complying. If you want the economy back, masking up is a small price to pay.

I tend to watch games with the sound off because I can't stand the endless banter of two or three idiots telling stories about anything but the game action.

I have a confession to make .... its true I do not fear this virus any more than I fear any other disease . I will live my life . but I do fear wet low water crossings especially of the concrete kind . butt puckering instant disaster faster than a man can blink . I hate sand , sand will give me fits . and one can learn proper sand technique (mak10 knows sand and he has technique , he also knows how to dig you out ) but low water crossings is a crap shoot. I will turn around and go the long way rather than risk the water crossing . that is my kryptonite . at least on a motorcycle. have I crashed a water crossing ,nope . I know the technique , it has to be perfect , eventually it will get you.

back on the virus crap..... the news yesterday said that there was flu cases already showing up in the central Texas area .... c19 , now flu (not sure the strain ) and for the perfect trifecta add cedar fever . cedar fever is not a life taking disease but an allergy to the cedar trees pollen that dominate the area ( usually the trees like to broadcast it's pollen storms on cold windy days , winter is prime time . and the trees look like smoke is coming off them ) . the symptoms for all 3 are very similar ; initially. cedar fever will not kill you but you will be very miserable . snot storms of sneezing fits is in order . and you feel like your running a fever . but mostly your not .... it can lead to other complications that could be a problem but mostly as the trees procreate you caught in the middle . Austin and central Texas like to claim they are the live music capitol of the world . but they are also the allergy capitol of the world..... the biggest threat to your nose today is it is also the beginning of rag weed , more snot storms of sneezing scratching your itchy eyes out. . no way you can keep your hands off your face in all of this crap . we may all die after all .
