Yep, I saw they're based in California. Gonna wait till Monday and call baja designs. They make a six light 10 inch. Want to see if it fits the Tenere. Much brighter. If not I'm gonna get the one you showed me.

Got the lightbar for $377 and found the correct wiring harness $58 shipped on a different website. Thanks Google, and thanks to those here that helped.

Have been using a 6" Rigid Industries SR series flood/spot combo for 4 years to great effect and have considerably higher confidence in rural/trail night riding. This isn't to say that the factory beams are slouches.

Travex, Have you checked clearance to your front fender. I was going to get a light bar but the it looks like the fender would hit it where you have it mounted. I have already got my forks to compress close to 7" just on the street.

Good question, baliisticexchris. Prior to mounting it I kept an eye on the 'rings' on the fork to determine the extent of fork compression as it was a concern. What I ended up doing was using a piece of 1/4" x 2" x 7"-ish piece of stock plus washers to place on top of the factory bracket to take it up just a bit more. A thinner piece of stock bent/braked into a gull-wing would also do nicely here. Could only go up so high as you'll notice the OEM bars. As it's set back, any higher and the light would be eclipsed and cut off at the top. The current gap is just over 7-1/8" which has worked well for 32k miles. W/o the factory bars there still would be a little more height to eke out. It's wired through an FZ1 Fuzeblock to it's own switch and I do use a cover as some states/provinces are strict on these. The amount, temperature, and dispersion pattern of its light is a game changer and has no doubt saved me grief.

You'll notice the disparity in color temp between the headlamps and aux lights. Just rec'd a set of 70w, 65k, 5k-lm Novsights yesterday which I'm sure will also improve things considerably. I've read a couple comments that indicate the lights bars aren't needed any longer with them. I'll take the extra light and be happy with it.

Nice setup Travex! Which light bar is that from RI, combo light perhaps? I just purchased some Rigid D2's (Driving) intending on mounting on front of crash bars and depending how that lights up the road (along with some brighter LED lights for stock HL) I may want to add the light bar as well. I live in a rural area with lots of critters on and along side of the road that I want to be able to see so I don't hit them!

Thanks U.P. Yes, it's a combo RI and I put it on before a ride around the Great Lakes and it works wonders. Can't imagine finding a bad word about LED's up-front. You're going to be sitting real pretty those D2's in addition to LED headlights. Great corner of the world you have for riding there!
