Re: Re: Cyclops replacement LED headlight bulb kit for Teneres

Just sent $11.00 USD to sallydog@sallydog.com via paypal. I used friends and family and under the note part I put "for item."

Hopefully I understood what you were saying in your post? If not, then PM me and I'll fix what needs to be fixed.

Thank You!

I'm interested as well. What kind of light bar are you using?

Are the Cyclops headlights a significant upgrade on the Super Tenere? I put them on my KLR, made a big difference.

Just a random question, did you install these by taking of the front cover as opposed to removing the holder in the rear of the cowl? Just asking as if that is less fidgety then I will try that next time. I have a few of the LED's just waiting to install, never got round to it.

from the front. i dont think you could get them out from the back.

gen 2 take off
windshield
little triangle between windshield mounts (phillips 1/4 turn)
headlight bezel
4 bolts for the headlight bucket

the harness is long enough to pull the bucket far enough to get the markers out (1/4 turn)

really much easier than it sounds, maybe 15 minutes start to finish

Thanks, I'll try that. Last time I went through the back on my 2012, that was tight getting my hand in.....
