Hi guys,

i have a badlands jacket its a xl and it comes up quite big to be honest, so i,m thinking that klim come up larger slightly in sizing, now living in the UK i,m no where near
a klim supplier, but would like a pair of goretex trousers to go with jacket.

now i,m 6 feet 1 inch tall so i need the long leg defenetly as regular is a no no , but in a normal denim jean i can get in a 36" waist in some but others i need a 38" waist

so my thinking is if the klim 36" trouser comes in large like the jacket does i,ll be ok but do i buy the 38" but they could be big big

can i ask anybody wearing klim trousers give me their opininon please

Go to the website, the latitude trousers have a sizing tool, from there and using some sizing from other brands of jeans and pants, they will give you their best guess with percentage.

I normally wear Wranglers relaxed fit 42 waist and they sized me at 40. Did not believe them and bought their riding jeans (k-one i think they are called) with 42 waist, it was too big, had to exchange for the 40s.

M&P carry a decent range of Klim, if it's not on the rack Jeff is happy to get it out of the stock room.

Here's my two cents worth. Very recently I bought a gently used pair of Klim fifty 1 denim riding Jean's. The 1 denotes a regular leg whereas a Klim fifty 2 has skinny or tapered legs. I was a size 36 in another brand called resurgence. I had two pairs of resurgence jeans, a regular and a skinny fit, unless you have rally skinny legs, don't buy the skinny fit.
Back to my gently used klim jeans, size 34 although a little bit too long in the leg these fit just fine. I'm 5 foot 8 1/4 and just shy of 13 stone, er, 180 lbs.
Best advice, refer to the sizing chart.

I am usually a 36 or 38 in most pants I wear. Picked up a set of 38 latitude last year and just too loose in my opinion. I ended up getting a set of 36 regular Carlsbad this spring and they fit correctly.
6'-0" 210-215lbs.
So I guess I have a set of 38 latitude with a few days running on them available.
Latitude and Carlsbad fit big would be my experience.

My guess would be 38 would work if you were looking at latitude or Carlsbad pants. I haven't tried on any of the other klim pants so I can't comment on their fit.
how do you find the lengh of regular size trousers, i was convinced i need tall leg but the shop saying not necessarily they said they don,t sell that many tall leg

I just bought Latitude pants. 38 regular. I'm a whisker over 6 feet, 33 inch inseam. Tried a 36 regular at the store. I could have fit either but went with the 38 as it gave a bit more room for tucking in a shirt and a bit more comfortable sitting.

KLIM's online sizing tool told me to get the tall version. That would have been a mistake. The knee pads on the regular are in a good place and there's ample coverage over a boot. Regular should be fine certainly for a 34 inch inseam and maybe ok for longer.

Hope this helps,

If you compare Klim to Revit for example they are longer.
I find my 36 reg a bit long when standing but perfect when on the bike. A friend has a pair of 36 Carlsbad regular and he is just a bit taller than me, 6-1 and his pants are border line. He mentioned he would like a bit longer because they rise up a bit when on the bike. Walking around they good.
My guess would be go for the tall version. I personally don't mind a bit bunching up on my boots when walking around, but on the bike I can't stand when they lift up the leg exposing a lot of the boot.

Everyone is different and like a different feel. Even my 36 pants are not tight around the waist or butt. You might be happy with a 36 tall?
I bought a used pair of 38 tall Klim traverse pants. Way too loose and too long for me. Length fit my friend perfect, but loose in the legs and seat.

Rob you could always get them to send you both sizes and send one back. I know you have to pay for both but is is a temporary payment.

You definitely want the regular leg. With my 33 inch inseam the bottom of the pants leg drags behind my heels when I'm wearing boots. Luckily there are some convenient snaps at the bottom to address that. In general the regular 38 is fairly baggy in the legs for me, but that also helps getting on and off. I saw no issue when sitting on the bike with them rising up. Haven't ridden with them yet, so this is just based on pre-ride testing to make sure I don't need an exchange.

to be honest when i measured inside leg i measures from tight under crotch to floor bear footed and i have on that 33" but while talking to the shop the guy said measure from crotch to top of your foot where the trouser woud touch or sit on top of the boot, and that was 31"
he said the regular leg is 33" so i would be fine
