My light brown pair of Klim Outrider pants arrived. Seem very well constructed and fit very much like a pair of Carhartt canvas work pants. Sizing is spot on. I wear a 36x34 for all my pants and the 36 waist “tall” versions fit like a 34” inseam.

The D30 knee armor is fully adjustable (awesome!) to put it where you need it. D30 hip armor is pretty much in the spot where it should be, but is not adjustable becuase they drop into mesh pockets on the hips.

The only knock, if it could be considered one, is that they sit low on the waist like many pants are designed nowadays. But this is fine with me, but if I had a choice I would prefer they sit a bit higher on the waist.

Haven’t ridden with them on yet, but I can’t imagine they would be anything less than great for their intended purpose. At this price point they will be hard to beat.

I have a pair the protection feels great, the armor is positioned correctly unlike a lot of Klim pants in my opinion, the pants seem well built and like they would hold up well in a crash. However two of my observations are that they are quite hot but I live in Louisiana so take that with a grain of salt and if you ride with a tall ADV boot getting the pant legs over the boot is a challenge. I have Alpinestars Corozal's and it's a fun time getting everything on and off, wish they made the legs just a bit wider, other than that great pants especially for the price.

Pants are awesome have had some seat time with them now. protection is good. No problem getting them over my Gaerne Balance boots which are pretty tall.
