Hi all, down in sunny Auckland New Zealand;
Just put a deposit down on a new S10 with a full set of Givi Trekker luggage and the all important heated grips.
Used for everything from daily commuting to two weeks away with the wife.
Was given the opportunity to ride one for a day on our last tour and went straight to the dealer when we got back, moved from a very capable Triumph Tiger 1050, the S10 just has longer legs, more comfort, better fuel range and more room for us and all our gear.

Glad to be on board and look forward to contributing.

Welcome,

We have family friends your way and hope to visit sometime, thinking of coming for a few weeks and taking off on a rented bike for a week, I hear you have fantastic traffic free roads, the S10 must be perfect for exploring them.

Well thanks for the welcome guys ::003::

Had the bike for just over a week now and am very pleased with the decision to buy one.
At first I was wondering about the weight of the thing as I push it out of the garage in the mornings and paddle it backwards into its parking spot at work, but have concluded sitting on it and using your legs is better than trying to move it around 'off the bike'. All that weight disappears once she is on the move but I sure dont fancy picking it up if she goes down.

Have fitted a front fender extender and GPS mount plus heated grips.
Going to be looking at changing the muffler for an Akro when funds allow, it seems very stifled in tone with the standard one. I have an Arrow of the Triumph Tiger to sell towards the cost and it is Christmas just around the corner.
Have read about the fuse bridge across the clutch switch to improve the quite obviouse 'stumble' in the fueling so will do this too soon.

To those that have mentioned it, yes NZ is a great country for motorcycling, Mrs KG and I get out on a tour of this fair isle at least 3-4 times a year, the next one planned is a two week tour of the South Island in March. It feels like a different country to the North Island, big skys, endless traffic free roads and now a new bike to do it all on again :)
