Had the bike dyno tuned this fall by an inmate on the forum ::003:: Since then, I've been very impressed with rideability and overall power delivery throughout the usable RPM range. No low RPM surging, no unintended backfiring upon decel, no flat spots accelerating. Bike runs like a bat outta hell. We were very methodical, taking a little over 3 hours making sure there were no, "Ahh, good enough..." areas. Tuning was done at part throttle %'s as well as WOT.

Anyway, from my other post, my mods include:

Arrow Headers
Leo Vince Pipe
Unifilter foam air filters + airbox mods
PCV + AutoTune AT-200 (latest firmware on both)
ECUnleashed GenII flash, removed stock O2 sensors
Altitude: ~900 ft
Fuel: 91 octane (no ethanol)

Karson,

I want to formally give you a huge THANK YOU!

I also have the same configuration as yourself. In fact, you had posted a tip to zero out the auto tune 0% & 2% columns and add fuel manually from the 1k to 3k range. Those words of wisdom solved the nagging surging at 2k and 2.5k, as well 95% of my deceleration backfires.

Before I made the map change, I loved the bike and performance but when the rpms crept into the surging range I would get irritated. I guess only people who have experienced this can relate, but this small thing can really change your mood about this great bike over time.

I would love to know what your gains are concerning the dyno tuning session. As we have the same configuration, I know it is possible to achieve your results :)
