Since I drove past my Yamaha dealership today I couldn’t resist my urge to see if they already had the new T700 WorldRaid. And they sure did, what a freaking awesome machine!! Sat on it, drooled all over it and looked at my dad like you know when it’s Christmas right? Not gonna happen but we were very impressed by it.

Pics or it didn’t happen:

Is the World Raid coming to the USA ? Im not immersed in the T7 world and I don't know. I know the standard one is still in short supply in the US. I dont think I have ever seen a T7 being ridden out in public before. The only one I have ever seen in "real life" was at the bike show 2-3 years ago.

Would love to rip a T7 off road one day....

Thank you

I don’t know if they come to the US. Would be a mistake if they didn’t.
I have taken a normal one for a spin last year, simply loved it!

Running out of gas is a pain in the arse. Pulling wheels off ! .
It does look nice though. Will have to get a ride on the 700.

Got to see my first 700 in real life last week at Whitehorse Yamaha, it’s definitely wasn’t built to suit me. A week later when we returned the new 700 had been sold. They offered to buy my Tenere and said it would be extremely easy for them to resell it for a nice profit.

It's the same here.
It is like when the Ramones splitted up....
People always took them for granted but they realise how good they really were only when they were no longer around...
The secon hand market for S10 now is really crazy...
Even happier to have bought one brand new in 2020...

The reason I moved to London in my early twenties was for the punk music..
I planned to stay 6 months to learn some English.
I ended up staying about 10 years...
A lot of gigs and a lot of pints!

Rode one on a paved group ride at the IMS last year. They are taller than I expected. It would need a cruise control for me, as a replacement for the S10. What I really liked coming from the S10 was a Gear indicator that worked even when the clutch is pulled. Modern chain I could live with. Some folks have converted tubes to tubeless.
