So far the trip has been mostly going well, about another 1,300 mile to Tuktoyaktuk, but most likely the last 1,300 miles will be the most challenging.
Only 800 miles from Tuktoyaktuk but because of the breakdown we are all giving up for this year, hopefully we will have better luck if we ever attempt it again, I’m just thankful it broke down where it did..
This is really a pita, when something like this happens, on a long trip.
I agree. I made the journey in July landing in Tuk the night of the 21, or day since the sun didn't set, and I haven't stop smiling and saying 'I friggin' did it!!"Yea, a bummer for sure but DON'T give up on your dream. From experience your regret it later.
Get back, reorganize and make another run for it.
Any brand of sealed ball bearing will work, the right side bearing measures 22 X 44 X 12 mm wide. The generic number would be 60/22 2rs.
I don't know the size of the left bearing, but it is different than the right.
