Those of us with the Orangs Electronics TPMS see the value in it, for sure, but we need to find a solution to the lack of availability of replaceable sensors with straight stems that would work for either wheel. Any ideas? Has anybody contacted Orange Electronics directly? If I get time this week, I will try to contact them.

I sent an email directly to Orange a couple weeks ago. Evidently it’s been ignored. Not encouraging.

Any new and encouraging updates on the Orange TPMS sensor front? One of mine is only working intermittently at this point after showing me the low voltage warning for a little while.
Tried to use a contact form on a website to request a new one but haven't heard back. Would love to keep the system since it is great with good batteries, and the display is all mounted and wired.

And to those of you who have given up on Orange - what system with Internal sensors is the alternative?

Late comer to the conversation but super interested in running a TPMS like the orange on my bike. I will reach out to the companies as well.

Same, I wanted an Orange unfortunately found out about them after they stopped selling them. I want an internal though not valve stem mounted.

I am wondering if one could get the sensors for the new M207 and pair them with the M203 display. The displays look almost identical so it's conceivable.
That leaves the new sensors with the funky valve stem that won't work on the front rim (unless you are willing to cut deep into it, but not me). The intriguing thing is that the sensors and the valve stems are separate on the M207 and I wonder if it is possible to find a straight aftermarket valve stem for TPMS that you could attach the M207 sensor to? But right now I am still too cheap to fork over 50 bucks for a sensor that may or may not work.
And then there is the question, do I continue with a system from a manufacturer that clearly has shitty service , or cut bait now. But I still think it's the best system and I have that receiver mounted and wired....

Gordon (RRRTools) told me that the 207 sensors will indeed work with the older 203 display.

Well that's good to know. Especially since it's my rear wheel sensor that crapped out so I might even be able to use the new valve stem. I will give Orange a few more weeks to respond to my email (haha!) but then I may just try the 207 sensor and will report back.

So I ordered the Orange M207 replacement sensor via eBay for $50 and it arrived pretty quickly.
Rather than using the provided angled stem I went to Autozone and purchased an automotive Dill TPMS valve stem and it fits the sensor perfectly. I could have used the angled stem but wanted to see if I could use one for the front too when that one dies.
And it also connected to the 203 unit, so I am back in business.

Nice! What unit(s) on eBay did you order? Link? Also, is there a specific part number for the Dill TPMS stem?

I just ordered one Orange M207 replacement sensor. There was only one seller on eBay who had one listing for the sensor and one for the whole system.
The rubber stem is a Dill VS950 and Advance Auto Parts had it in stock so I took it to check if it was compatible. I really wanted the VS925B which is the aluminum stem in black with a nut on the outside but even though their website says you can order it in the store, the store didn’t see the listing.
I think next time I need new tires I may order the metal stem and switch though many people swear by rubber stems.

I ordered the VS925B stems from Wal Mart for $6.39 each with free shipping just now. I see that vendor on ebay that has the M207 sensors has them listed at $49 each or 2 for for $95 with free shipping from Taiwan.

Do you need to file the rim spine a bit to get access to the nut?

@Don in Lodi: if you use the rubber stem, i.e. the VS950, you wouldn’t even need to file the rear rim spine, as you had to for the old Orange sensors.
If you want to use the supplied 90 degree stem, which would only work in the rear anyway, you need to file the spine.

I've noticed that a lot of universal replacement sensors operate at the same 433MHz frequency as the Orange sensors. I wonder if the Orange monitor panel will read those?

I have wondered the same but I don't think the frequency is all that matters, considering most of those sensors require devices to "learn" them to the vehicle. But there is only one way to find out - buy one!
