I did notice that when you go to the yamabits website in the UK, it states that there is no VAT.

That is correct but for UK buyers they will receive an invoice from HMRC for the VAT.

looks like its just over 20% as it seems you can also pay an admin fee, figure if i plan on around an extra 25% in total i should be ok. just but my order down slightly anyway as it turns out one of the items doesn't fit my purpose.

Like Hoeb said. Have your local friend order it. Take it out of the box or package and look at it. Box up the "Used PART". And forward it on. I have a friend that comes from Oxford, UK each year that goes home with used parts. His suit case will handle H-D slip on mufflers.

I dont know about other countries but I can tell you, products sent between Australia and USA are import duty and tax free if valued under $1000.

Wasp, that is good to know. Looks like I will have to do two separate orders with you at some point to keep it under the $1000.

BTW, I ordered the windscreen bracket two weeks ago and have not gotten any word from Motoradgarage yet. I hope it's okay.

SpeedStar I was going to order one of these, bit concerned you havn't had any comms, could you keep us posted please. Hope you get yours ok.
