I lived in the 602 for years, riding the Mokee Dugway and other dirt roads on bikes NOT meant for it is part of what drove me to buy my Super10. Jealous, I gotta get back there, see if the backside of Mt. Lemon is as bad as they say.
Welcome, it’s a fantastic bike and luvluvluv the yellow and black!
I need to get back to AZ and Ride up there again...............Was one of my favorite places for a day-trip from Mesa.
I don't think you'd have any trouble on a Super-Ten, I drove my Firehawk up it from the Oracle side back when I lived there. You end up at the Fire-Station near SummerHaven.

Pontiac Firehawk? Or Honda Fireblade? Or Honda Super Hawk? None of which would be at home off road.

I love az, free camping, cheap fuel, cheap food and loads of places to check out.
Just about anywhere is cheaper than California. If you think AZ is cheap. . . . Texas is even cheaper. You can camp in my yard. And. . . . there's chicken. :D

Well at 75 cents for soda, free camping and cheap fuel I doubt it. I do value your thoughts but reality has other thoughts. When you cans survive on $600 per month well....

for all you out of staters , Texas is very expensive , full of rednecks driving their 4x4 bubba trucks , all the roads are straight , the food here sucks , our women are homely , and every county is dry , we have blue laws still in effect , and we are not Texas friendly.
for all you out of staters , if your coming just to visit , well none of the previous statement is true , it is a great place to live (for texans ) and for you out of staters to visit. spend lots of money please ,then go home .lol..... just poking at you out of staters (seirra 1 got me going ) cause y'all aint Texan .
a lot of great places to call home in this country , enjoy. and you can live here if you need to.....

Planning a trip to Fairbanks this coming summer to see a cuz. did you travel on the Mitas tires on your trip to from Ontario to Arctic circle? Just curious.
Yes, Mitas E07 Dakar front and rear, new when I left Ontario 7028 kms to Tuktoyaktuk then back to Dawson and west into Alaska. Return trip went south on the Cassiar to Salmon glacier then through the Rockies and turned east. Total trip was 20,000 kms and the rear Mitas went another 10,000 of local rides. The front lasted 70,000 kms.

Small world. I lived in Pinetop for 20 years until 2012. Took a job in Minneapolis in 2012 and moved back to AZ in 2018. The White Mountains rock!!
I spent the past 2 winters in Apache Junction, rode through Cave Creek and Pinetop numerous times, one of my favourite rides was 288 to Young, here’s a photo along 288 overlooking Lake Roosevelt.FB4E5012-D9F0-4431-8BD5-59214CCF33DE.jpeg

Pontiac Firehawk...................
And no, it is definitely not ideal for that type of stuff.
You should have seen the looks on the faces of the people at that Fire-Station when I came around that last bend and up the hill.
I have pictures from that day, but they're not digital. They are buried in a box somewhere.

I hope to get down there again one day soon, and ride the S10 up that way...................I am holding out hope that they will reopen Apache-Trail again, and I can get some good rides in while I'm there.

Saw a shirt the other day. . . . it said Don't California my Texas.
I was in Scottsdale this past weekend and saw almost the same shirt...it said Don't California my Arizona, and as a native Californian who left in 2007, I can safely say every time i go back, I remember why I left.

As far as the Super Ten, it felt like it was made for Arizona. Of course, I was living in Phoenix when I took delivery of mine. I took it to Crown King, Mogollon Rim, and rode 7 Springs/Bloody Basin road out of Cave Creek all the way around to Camp Verde. Castle Hot Springs Road out by Lake Pleasant was also another great ride. And then there was the loop out through Miami/Globe, which could be extended by adding in Show Low...

It's even crazier now I've seen a jump of 15 percent in food just this year. Also they added a new size for some foods which was the same size about 10 years ago. I asked my neighbors what they paying in rent and its 2200 to 2400 for a house. The homelessness is bad and I've never seen it like this. There people car camping toward the end of my block. There smart about it and you almost never see them.

If you were on I-40, that was ugly TX. For the most part, the further south you go, the prettier it gets. Front yard is pretty close to the road, you'd probably like the back yard, by the creek, and trees a whole lot better. :)

Thanks for the routes. over the years I have had many sport street bikes and did Salt River Canyon (ad nauseum), 666 devils highway, 89A to Jerome, Oak Creek canyon etc... looking to expand the terrain with fire roads and off asphalt., However well aware of my limitations with a 500 pound bike. Rode dirt bikes back on the farm in Ohio growing up, but many moons ago. :)

Cheers!

I'm curious about the route to "Sheep Bridge"?
If you ever ride that on the S10, let me know how it is........................I'm looking to add that next time I'm down there.
