I think it's a good looking small bike, I've been seeing a lot of 250/300 bikes around lately. Makes me wonder if our next generation of motorcycle riders are more about cheap, economical motorcycles rather than just the fastest or biggest machines.

Not surprising that weight was the last thing listed and that the HD outweighs the Honda competition by over 100 pounds while only producing five more horsepower. Good luck HD, your last small bikes were ok but didn't sell well.

The thing that blew my mind was that the only place we'll see this is in the Harley learner classes. It's not going to be sold in the US.

The Harley having 5 more horsepower seems like a pretty big thing when they are both low horsepower vehicles.
But when it comes to miles per gallon the Honda is definitely the winner.
There are definitely way to many extremely high horsepower vehicles out there.

More is not always better and I'm a big fan of smaller lighter bikes. That said in the 300-400 size range there are too many really good affordable bikes to even consider the HD. Their last "small" bikes the Street 500/750 were complete garbage. The Chinese brands have become pretty good, why would you pay for the Harley label?

In St Paul, the HD classes share facilities with us lesser mortals working the State classes. I am hoping that some of the new 350’s show up this year. It will be interesting to try one out

Street 500 is an unwieldy POS. Watching them run around the training range with bright orange Bumper Car crash bars is entertaining

I am with Sierra on the TW. Very old school, stable and a lot of fun

that is a good looking little bike. I think they could sell some of them here but not a lot. Probably not enough to make the expense worth the effort. I am sure in other country's they will sell well. I have seen a statement from Harley a few years ago that said they would not sell any Chines made Harley's in the U.S. I am sure that thought process is changing though. I also agree With Sierra. I love simple. Must be why I am having such a good time with the DR650 I got a couple years ago. That thread on this forum that got started about your next bike is interesting to me. There are none made now as simple as my Super T. I will stick with it for years to come. It is incredibly comfortable for me and reliable. No Harleys in my future. I would how ever love to have a XR1200! I love those things.
