Wanting to cross this off the bucket list. I’m thinking July 2020 anybody interested?

LOL!! At first I was thinking holy crap a Super Tenere on the Tour of Idaho!! You know that multi day expert one! This one looks fun and doable. I’m actually thinking about it. I’m going to download the tracks and check it out this weekend. How many days is it?

This is a 1250 mile BRDR ride. I imagine the route itself will take a good week. I am thinking a max of 4-5 riders.

I will be preferring to camp off the bike. Plan on rain. A few things that are a must.

A sat tracker (spot, inreach) device.
Appropriate tires.
Ability to ride 50+ mph on a dirt road.
Adequate camp gear, rain gear, etc.

Any thoughts? Dates?

This is not to be confused with the ride called “Tour of Idaho “. That is a plated dirt bike ride that looks fun as well. Just not on a Tenere.

End of July would work well. You pick a date. Getting out of town over the 24th crowd would be good.

If it makes it easier for anybody I have room to park trucks and/or trailers at my house.

July 18-26 it is. Let the planning begin. The BDR officially starts in Jarbridge. At this point we can customize it however you want. Meetup in Tremonton? Snowville? Jarbridge?
Southern Idaho temps expect 100+ F in the afternoon.

:( I have all of the above except the time. I would not want to camp off the bike for that long of a ride. I figured I would need at least 2 weeks off for this. I wish you guys the best of fun. Yes, my first thought was you were going to attempt the "Tour of Idaho" on the beast.
