My name is Dave and I have a severe case of MBS. Current rides are my 05 FJR and a 96 Monster 900. Lately I have been thinking I might need to sell the Monster and go plunk down my 500 bucks for a new Super Tenere. Have not stopped thinking about it since I stumbled into the brochure two weeks back at a dealer.

Got is so bad I would fly to a city that is doing demo rides if I could get someone at Yamaha to tell me there was one in the demo ride fleet. All they will confirm is there is one in the display fleet.

I hang out regular on Ducati Monster forum, and once in a while on the FJR forum.

Welcome BigBore, hope you get the test ride or at least a look at it. That would be better than most of us here who have slapped down our money!!!

Sooner you deposit, sooner the bike will be in your garage!!!!

Eh, I got lots of bikes.
Besides, coming on to Winter in Minnesota, dang near time to put em up.

I plunked down my $500 for the Feej and that worked out OK. If that's what I need to do I'll do it. Just a little apprehensive as I have never ridden a lot of off road, and even the adventure tour is going to be a new deal for me.

But I have not stopped thinking about this bike since I first read about it, I plan to ride up and see my dealer sometime this week for a chat.

Welcome to the forum.

This type of bike is new for me as well, never riden off road and I may never even when I get mine, don't let that put you off, when I test rode I found it to be a great road bike, the master of all trades maybe..
