If you are having a hard start [because code 19 is showing] it will not start when code 19 is on the dash.
Try spraying out the ignition switch with contact cleaner and compressed air, then lube the ignition switch.
I have read that ptfe/teflon spray works well after cleaning. I do this on padlocks and my Terra, etc, as it was stated that there was less gunk build up than with other lube.

Disclaimer: I sourced this from the net so please dispel if there is any evidence to the contrary.

hopefully on my way there :) what about the suspension. do they last that much?
I read on the list here that the fork bushings wear quickly. I procrastinated putting off my first fork service until I had 70,000+ miles on it. Guilt finally got the better of me so I pulled it all apart replacing all bushings seals dust caps and fluid. I had been checking for any looseness or play between the upper and lower fork bits and was never able to sense any. To my surprise there was still plenty of coating on the wear surfaces of all the fork bushings. Based on other's reports I expected to see that worn down to the base metal. I think they'd have gone easy to 100K miles. Since I had all the bits I replaced everything anyway and at least my guilt was assuaged.

well if they do not lunch tenere with automatic gearbox by the time I get to 100K I would do something similar.

It looks like it worked. Thank you so much for sharing :) I test it just for one day. Will see what will happen during the week.

So the actually problem was a immobiliser?
Also - since you did so many miles on your bike should I care about chain tentioner and if not when should I change it?
US bikes do not have an immobilizer.
