How do you like your Holan panniers?

Hey guys.

I'm thinking about getting a set of Nomada panniers for my S10. I was going to go for the Bumots but saw recently that the Holan pannier frames seem to have build in grab handles which I really like the idea of.

Do people have any photos of theres? I'd be looking at the 31L ones but don't think I've seen photos of that size.

What do you like and not like about them?

Cheers!

Not sure how relevant my review is. I had a set of the original Nomada panniers on my V-Strom, they both leaked pretty bad.

Much happier with my Givi Trekker Outback's

I've had a three-piece set on two different Tenere's for close to seven years. They haven't been abused but OTOH haven't been babied either. Been north to AK three trips and have withstood everything I've thrown at them. No leaks ever, all the latches work great and the finish has held up very well. Great panniers...would use them again.

I never had a problem with leaking, but I did feel like they hung down lower than some other boxes and almost broke my ankle offroad one time (could have happened with any hard box). They also are not as quick release as others. Granted you only add 45 seconds per side, but they are not truly quick release.

I used a Holan Nomada Pro panniers for 3 years on my T12.
The main reason I choose Holan was that they have the slimmest profil in relation to size compared to any other panniers I could find.
The 38L Holan panniers have the same width as the Yamaha OEM 32L panniers (both narrower than the handlebars).

I had no issues with the panniers, but have now replaced them with Mosko Moto R80 to save weight and optimize safety.

Bought a Holan top box about 4 years ago because they were making them out of thicker aluminum got the powder coated one and the box and finish have held up real well no leaks, I'd buy again for sure.

I bought a set in 2013 because they were the narrowest option. They have always performed well for me. No leaks.

One peculiar thing. I got the black ones. When they were new I put stickers on them. After about 1.5 years, stickers refused to stick to them no matter what. The old stickers are still there. Also, I spilled something on one of the lids and it started peeling the black coating off. I'd definitely get them in silver. I've been thinking about having mine bead blasted to remove the black.

Lots of pics on my instagram @lsu_biker
