Hi, Due to covid i didn't really ride the bike that much, just once every two week for a short commute in front of my house (2-3 miles) to charging the battery.
This morning i found that the horn is not working properly, have to press couple time before is working, iIt happen like this for a few tried.

It is a battery doesn't have enough power or any other reason?
cuz last month i went for a trip after lunch stop. i couldn't start the bike for some reason. Have to give it a throttle then is work.

It is probably something simple like a loose wire or relay shorting out.

Also, check connections. I am assuming that your weather has a lot of moisture, which could allow corrosion to start. The UK guys have a lot of electrical gremlins caused by the weather. OF course, yours is warm, theirs. . . . not so much. :)

Along with what has been suggested so far, spray some light oil like WD-40 in the horn opening. Sometimes a little corrosion starts and the horn will sound weak or not operate smoothly. After spraying the oil in, operate the horn several times and see if it becomes more consistent.

I have not had any aftermarket horn last more than half a season. Finally gave up and went back to the unit mammy yammy shipped with the bike.....end of problem.
I'm with you there. OEM horns have always been the most durable for me.

I had the Piaa twin horns on my last S10 for 60,000 km and the same ones on my 2nd S10 for 30,000 km. Zero issues and they get drivers' attention even if they're busy surfing. Make sure they are positioned so water doesn't collect in them.
