Okay about me. My first bike was a 2002 Nighthawk that I made into a light tourer. I then went to a 2005 Interceptor, but after a few years I felt it was top heavy and no longer my style of riding. I have had a RoadStar for the last 8 years and loved it. The comfort after add-ons is great, but I want more cornering clearance. I looked into all the big touring bikes and decided that although I love the new Goldwing and the new Indian Chieftain limited, I am not ready for the complete touring bike and I want something a bit lighter with a bunch of the features. So, I determined with an upright riding position, cruise, abs and traction control that the Super10 was the best option. The trouble now is finding a new ES. Is there anything really to be aware of with the new 2018?

::004::.
As far as "we" know, no serious problems on a generation 2 (from 2014 and onvards)
All S10 can be a bit tricky with all kinds of strange behaviour and error codes, when battery is not in good condition.

::004:: The '18 is the same as the '17, with less painted parts. You might be able to pick up a discounted, new non-current, and save some money. You're going to be amazed at how well this oversized dirtbike handles. My favorite bike....EVER. ::001::

Had a Nighthawk, VFR and an FZ1. The Super T is comfy, handles well and has great reliability. Any ES from 2014 on up will do the trick. Happy Hunting!

Upgraded from a 2013 to a 2018 Tenere last fall, lots of nice improvements ! The main thing I was after was cruise control and I’m loving it !
However the Goldwing is still my all time favorite motorcycle.

I have been riding and tweaking. Love the bike. Working on getting safe boots for off road. I don't think my Keen boots will be enough.

Welcome. If you choose to buy new go for it. I went with used. I looked for one that had the most accessories already added to it. Then all your buying is just the bike the seller takes the hit for everything they added to it. You must be patient it took me over a year to find mine .
