Been playin in the dirt more and more. Surely the old girl will get curious and want a closer look at some point.
HDB has an extra large bar end to protect your grip and most importantly your throttle tube.
The whole setup looks beastly!
I searched, but not many posts on this topic.
Another benefit I like is wider protection if you remove the wind guard for summer riding.

I don't have HDB handguards in my S10, but do have them on my WR250R and wife's CRF250L. I can attest to the quality. The metal framing is very well made. While not the weight of a S10, we've seen zero issues with tip overs. I really like their top plate for mounting accessory plugs and switches. Haven't thought about trying it on the S10.

The company has been good to work with. Would be interesting to see how it would work on the S10. I'd like to see their plastic guard have a more full wrap around option ike the S10 OEM guards, but their plastic shield is solid and gives good coverage.

In short, good product and company. No idea how they would work on a S10, but I'd pick them as a first option if I wanted more off-road protection.

ive used them on several bikes, the issue is the top clamp. The S10 doesn’t have a tradition mount, it’s more like a Harley where the mounting bolts are off set. All the clamps he makes the top bolt and bottom bolt are in line with each other. I bet he would build a set if you had enough orders.

i had a set on a off road sportster and totaled it in the interstate in a 80mph crash. The handguards survived with just road rash and I transferred them to the next bike. Solid piece of kit.

Thanks Rich. S10 wind protection is good, but even so when I rotate my levers downward to standing I find the either the levers stick out below the guards or the top of my hand is exposed to wind. Need more protection from cold air.

No longer an issue with their NextGen guards that don’t use the top clamp.
I was hoping someone here had tried them on the S10

Thanks for the school, I never knew they had the next gen version. I have used their guard with adapters for other handguards never even checked to see if they made them.

Correct. I have the NextGen. Much easier to mount than their originals that required the top clamp (I still like the top clamps). I had issues with the original design on my WR250R and they very willingly and quickly offered an exchange. Part of why I like them. They just shipped and trusted I'd return the originals, which I did. And those metal bits are beefy. Trying to get the original style to fit onto the WR250R was a real bear and why I asked for an exchange. No amount of bending in the vice would get them to quite the right angle for a confident fitment with the fasteners. Not an issue with NextGen.
