No sir, I haven't yet but from what I'm reading my preconceptions about DCTs may need to change. Haven't test ridden either the AT or the 'Wing but I guess I should keep an eye out for opportunities. The real risk, of course, is wanting yet another bike ;)
The first time I rode a DCT bike , I disliked it immensely. Two years later I tried another one (2019 Africa Twin Adventure Sports) and after an hour or so I completely gelled with it. You have to give DCT a bit of time (ideally a few hours or days).

The thing is, you can read all the articles and forums, but nothing beats riding a bike yourself as we all like different things.

I went for the S10 based on it's long and proven history, as opposed to the ATAS which they keep changing the engine etc..

I'm also a big fan of buying proven technology, even if it's not the latest & greatest... especially for vehicles. Our two daily driver cars were both the last year of their respective generations, and my worst experience with a new vehicle was a first model-year (Acura, back when their automatic transmissions were made out of eggshells and styrofoam).

My experience with DCT is limited to things like lawn equipment and cheap rental cars (which may as well be the same category), but based on the AT and 'Wing reviews, they must have gotten it right. I have a lot of confidence in Honda products, so long as they're designed in Japan (see above about my opinion of their US-market engineering), and I could conceivably see myself buying one down the road... but probably not until the next gen comes out :)
