Well, finally bit the bullet after being only about 30 mins from buying an old stock 2019 ES in March before COVID hit. Will be picking up a nice 2016 ES with 27K next weekend at what sure feels like a great price. Sure I'll end up having to do the valve clearance check but was looking for a good winter project anyway. Anything else to check while I'm at it? Swingarm bearings, wheel bearing, etc.?

Welcome aboard! We’ve got members who take the bike apart a long way and some just do basic maintenance. It’s up to you, I personally do what Yamaha recommend’s.

Have fun with it!

So, it was you who got Avraham Azrieli's S10! That looked like a great bike. Congrats!

Welcome from Texas. There's nothing wrong with taking her apart as often as you like. But I, like Stefan, just follow what the manual says. I've never had a bike from Japan fail me by doing so.

What are you liberating?
Well. . . . since you asked. . . . moto, I think you'd appreciate this furniture. . . . .

Wow, I'll take two! Imagine what fun you could have in those different positions but with chicken nuggets thrown into the mix. It gives a new meaning to, "eating out."

Welcome Liberator!
My 2014 needed fork seals when I bought it. From advice on this forum I pulled the trees and found the steering head bearings quite dry. Now that they have plenty of fresh slippery grease, I worry less :)
Good folks here on good bikes, again Welcome!

WTF??? How'd they latch onto that name. It was a GREAT airplane and of course the older meanings too.

My other half and I have names that were common when we were young and now there's no way in the world somebody would name their kid . . .

Bob or Karen
;)

At least we're a set.
