Is it just my bike or have all S10s only got a hero blob on the left foot peg and not one on the right foot peg???

correct thats how they come

Thanks Rob, I wonder if it’s because the centre stand foot piece sticks out on the left hand side and not the right side. Mind you that could be said for most bikes, Iv just never come across it before.

Somebody the other day was unhappy about the term "chicken strip(s)". Wonder if "hero blob" is going to bother him. I've never heard the term before. Neither term bothers me, but I'm not PC either.

Must be an English thing. I've always known them as hero blobs, but I think someone on here called them "kerb feelers". As far as I know that is illegal in the UK...

Whaaaat?! Are we talking curb feelers on foot pegs, or mounted on cars? To me curb feelers were popular back in the '70s. Mounted on Cadillacs or Rivieras with big ol' chrome wire wheels. You needed the curb feelers to let you know where the curb is, so you don't mess up you wheels.

My aunt made the mistake of leaving her 69 oldsmobile Toronado with curb feelers at our house with the keys in it. Me and my brother smoked the front tires on it.
