I need help finding some boots that will fit my wide feet. Alpinestars Corozals were too narrow. Forma Terra Evos didn’t fit well, and didn’t seem to offer much more protection than my Adventures. I just got a pair of Toucans to try. They still feel just a little tight. Any other suggestions? I want good protection, a sole stiff enough to stand up on the pegs for long periods, and at least comfortable while I’m on the bike, if not for long hikes. Waterproofing would be really nice, but if I had to sacrifice one thing, that would be it.

The Toucans could maybe work, if I knew if they would stretch/break in any, especially in the front of the heel cup.

Gaerne boots are a bit wider. I'm normally an E and they fit me great.

Gaerne SG10's for full blown hard core riding (not waterproof) or for a little less protection but pure walking comfort the Balance Pro Tech (not waterproof), or Balance Oiled (waterproof).

I have super wide feet and Gaerne's are the only ones that fit. I have both the Pro Tech and SG10

I have wide feet and picked up the Toucans. They were tight at first but after a 3000 mile ride, they fit great :)

After doing some more research, I ordered a pair of Falco Avantour Evos from Rocky Mountain MC. Once they get here, I’ll decide which pair is going to stay and which one will come back.

Hello maverick2076. I feel your pain. I can't even find work boots wide enough for me. I don't even try with motorcycle boots any more. As of right now i am riding with work boots that i take all the insides out of and only use laces above the ankle to let the bottom of the boot spread as far open as it can. Not a good thing but has been working that way for years.

I am a new member on this forum, but 11 4E is my problem too. What can I find in 11 4E?

Part of the problem is a lot of boots come from Europe & Asia along with a lot of helmets and those folks over there have little heads and feet.

For adventure riding go with the Gaerne G-All Terrain. They are waterproof with Gore-tex and they have adjustable shin plates like my SG-12's. Good if you have large shins or wear shin guards under your boots.

You guys with seriously wide feet, 3E and 4E, maybe you'll have to resort to top quality leather logger or work boots?

I’m really hoping the Avantours will do the trick. Honestly, the Toucans would probably work. They just need to loosen up a little through a break in.

Always wondered about these boots as I like the style and implied function but I have never seen a pair in person or know anyone that has as well.
Interested to know what your impressions are when you get to see the Falcos up close. I believe these boots are still made in Italy.

Say, I have never seen those before. Very nice!! Almost exactly like my Pro Tech but with Gortex lining. I will tell you my Pro Tech's get cold in the winter. Gortex should help with keeping the feet warm. They don't offer the protection of the SG10's or 12's but boy are they comfortable to walk around in when traveling. Thanks Mr Silver Bullet!

Those Gaerne boots look nice but DAMN! Too pricey for my old cheap ass. I went with the work boots. You can get a fairly good pair in 4E that is water proof for around $100-150 price range. Depending on how you use them you should get several years on them.

Originalswat.com. I’ve been wearing these for years true EEE. Side zipper pull only lasted a year on my non waterproof ones but a small cable tie is perfect fix.

Well, the Avantours are a bust. The buckles are not great, they fold funny when they close, and they are too small. I ordered a 12, but I would definitely need a 13 in these to have a shot at them fitting, and I just don’t have time to try again.

After my BMW boots wore out, soles replaced once, I just stuck with work boots. Keen’s 3/4 boots in the summer and ankle high Carolina slip-on boots in the fall. Both available in wide widths, composite toes and best of all my work paid for them.

So, after the lackluster showing from the Avantours, I decided to give the Toucans a second chance. I’ve been wearing them around the house all day with 2psirs of socks on, and they definitely seem to be loosening up a bit. I’ll keep it up for a couple days, but if this keeps up I think the Toucans will do nicely. The only place they are tight is at the front of the heel cup, and that does seem to be loosening up.

Fixed the heel tightness. I stuffed a yeti tumbler upside down in each boot and left them overnight. It stretched the heels out and they are just fine now.
