Honestly if it were me i would hold on and see what else comes up. I paid £9000 for my 2015 ES with 3,300 miles full luggage and it was 8 months old when i got it. They havent really gone up in price so i dont think that is a good deal. If you really want to go for it make them an offer at least £500 less. Its a buyers market at the moment dealers need cash not stock. Think about all the 2020 bikes they have not sold. if you are no doing a px you are in the driving seat here some patience will save you alot of money. I nearly bought one that was a year older non ES with no luggage and 10,000 miles but held on and the ES i bought came up and i got a great deal.

True but isn't yours one of the countries that adds a tax equal to 100% of the price on vehicles not made in the country? That essentially doubles what you need to pay for a Japanese bike.

30% import tax + 15% extra-zone tax + 10% customs tax + 21% value added tax + 3% statistic rate + freight and internal insurance + seller's profit
and the patenting (registration to circulate) costs 5% of the purchase value

So, that adds to 29.900, the seller's profit per bike will be 7k USD, almost the cost of a Tenere 700 here in the USA, that is a scam!

Sorry, Yes the 2016 ES is £8995 which seem about normal for this bike with just under 10k miles. The 2020 is £9995
That feels expensive. My 2016 ES was loaded with extras like full arrow system, madstad, winglets, hugger, pointless yamaha crash bars and fender extender for £8600. It was 18 months old with 12,000 miles. What extras could you buy with £1400 saving over the 2020?
