Sorry Rob,

No clue, maybe contact your local dealership? Mine is very helpful.

Stefan
i,m asking as we know the oem right heated grips breaks a wire, the part number above is available to me but its looking like that part number is a gen2 grip so i,m thinking won,t fit a gen 1 bike i don,t know if the plug on the end of the lead is different to the gen 1 plug and harness etc,
trouble here in lockdown nothing open

@bimota - Rob, please don't start multiple threads on the same question. For goodness sake, this isn't that difficult to sus out.

Gen I bikes use a stand alone control unit mounted on the bars or where ever you like.

Gen II bikes use the ECU to control the heated grips. Because of this, the resistance must be what the ECU expects, or the grip control thru the ECU doesn't function and no heated grips.

The Gen I you have won't likely care what grip you plug into it. Buy the cheap one you found and do it. At worst, you may get different levels of heat from one side to the other, but that happens anyway! The Gen I controller doesn't care what ohm resistance the grips have, it's just a basic control unit, not a 'smart' one built into the ECU.
