Thank you mikebmeehan! The KLR650 is a great bike! Durable, reliable, low tech and torquey! Unfortunately, I'll probably be selling mine as I find there's not a decent amount of public land to dual sport on in Texas (as compared to say New Mexico, Arizona, etc.). If however, it were my only bike, I'd keep it (for everyday/utility use).Well introduced, I am glad you made a good choice of your motorcycle. You seem like a great motorcycle enthusiast! I was looking forward to buying a Kawasaki KLR650

The KLR is a great bike for a basic little runabout. My oldest son bought one, and rode it for a couple of years. He sold it his brother, my youngest son, who rode for a couple of years, and put over 25k miles on it. And, he has sold it to one of his cousins, who is having a blast on it. I had expected the T-12 to be just a bigger KLR. . . . what a pleasant surprise to find out I was so wrong. But, here's someone looking to buy a KLR. . . . and someone looking to sell a KLR. . . . Just sayin'.. . . . The KLR650 is a great bike! Durable, reliable, low tech and torquey! Unfortunately, I'll probably be selling mine. . . .
Quite a family legacy with that KLR! I did note that potential buyer too I've got some post-trail repair/maintenance to do first though.
