Hi, y'all, Bee4 here. I own a gloss black 2016 Super Tenere (non-ES model) that I purchased new in late '16. I have the silver Yamaha bags and a Kappa trunk, also a MadStad mount and several different windscreens I run depending on the season. This is my first adventure-style motorcycle after researching and riding everything I could get my hands on. I've been riding for over 40 years, mostly trail riding, motocross, and enduro events for the middle 25 years. I don't view my Super Ten as an off-road machine having spent so much time on lightweight dirt bikes. (I know some of you take your S10s offroad. I'm just not that skilled. More power to you!). Having said that I love the Super Ten on gravel roads but use it mostly for two-up road riding and touring with my wife. Due to its size, carrying capacity, reliability, and pretty good suspension we find it's perfect for travel or even just short weekend rides, especially with the crappy paved roads we encounter these days. I have always maintained my own motorcycles, including 30-odd MX and enduro bikes during my dirt days, 3 sport bikes set up for touring, a '55 H-D Panhead I had in college and all the way back to my Honda 50 when I was just a kid. Now, it's just the Super Ten we call B4 (Big, Beautiful, Black Bike) although I am thinking of adding another machine, perhaps a CRF450L or a T7. Can't make up my mind if I want to get really dirty again or only a bit dusty, depending on the ride. Decisions!

Welcome from Texas. I feel your pain; ours are getting worse too. Just wait until you see pictures of dirt/gravel roads that are smoother that your pavement.

Bee4, welcome from Mexico! I do not like to take my S10 to dirt road it is heavy for me and I enjoy much better pavement roads even they might not be to good, I enjoy every time I can be in the road with my toy. Regards

OK, I'll go back to sleep now, y'all. Thanks for the welcomes, folks. I'm looking forward to participating in the forum. Today is maintenance day for B4. Have to change the front brake stoplight microswitch. They are hard to find but I managed to score one in Iowa and had it shipped in.
