You might want to check out some of those outfits that haul motorcycles, I’ve heard of some pretty reasonable prices.
Had my Tenere hauled 500 miles from Prudehoe Bay to Fairbanks Alaska for $160.00 , Carlisle Tucking of Ice Road truckers fame hauled it overnight.

You Aussies get all sorts of cool looking cars and trucks.
But the prices you guys pay are horrible.

U-Haul for me. At $12 a day (last time I rented), and unlimited mileage, how can you go wrong. Don't do a one way, they will get you for that, just rent one for "x" amount of days near your house and tug it to where you will pick up the bike.

The last version of the Pontiac GTO was straight from Australia.

...what is the vehicle....looks like a modern day El Camino...???
That's the Ford Version. Here's the GM/Holden/Vauxhaul version: For a time they were putting the 6.2L in it. It's called the Maloo.

I took it for about a hundred mile ride today......went over and ordered some Givi cases (Trekker Dolomiti 36 Liter Side and Dolomiti 46 Liter top case). Now, just trying to decide whether to order some of the liners for these cases (Givi T506 for the side cases)....I will ask about that in a different thread! Thanks for the advice....it is nice to finally own this bike....I have been lurking and thinking for almost two years. I have really enjoyed the bike so far....and look forward to taking some trips.
