Looking at at a Super Tenere that is about 10 hours from me. There isn't a really good option of someone going with me to drive my vehicle back and am considering driving my truck down. Has anyone ever loaded and hauled this bike a standard 1/2 ton truck bed? Did you have any issues either getting it loaded or unloaded or with anything else? Thanks!

This has been talked about on another thread but the lowdown is this:
Piece of cake if you bring proper ramps and can find any sort of incline to use to lower the angle of attack. I rode mine into the back of my truck. A little daunting but just close your eyes and you'll be fine. I would recommend taking any side cases off before you do this to make the process easier.

Good luck.

I’ve hauled mine in th back of my Tundra. It fits diagonal with the tailgate up. I loaded and unloaded with a “dock” that was level with the tailgate.

Done it many times with no problem at all.
Tenere and a WR250 in a Nissan Frontier with 6.5 ft bed:

Tenere and KTM 690R in F150XL with 6.5 ft bed. Back it to the hill and roll them in or out.

If it is one bike put in diagonal the tail gate can be closed. This limits you to the door mirrors.

I picked mine up with my Tundra that has a 6.5' bed. Left the tailgate down and used 4 tied owns. Ramps (the right ones) are your friend.

But, if you aren't used to it get the uhaul trailer specifically designed to haul a bike. Has a place for the front wheel so it won't move around at all. Low to the ground too.

Just do it!

I hauled mine and many other motorcycles in the back of a truck. If it runs you can power it right up a ramp no problem. If it doesn't run it is a damn heavy thing to run up a ramp unless you are lucky and find a low spot to park and have at least one helper. I only use 8ft bed trucks and will never consider a shorter bed though, so I always just load, close the gate and drive. Buddy of mine back years ago had a 1973 Z1 Kawasaki that was darn near brand new, and hauling it in a 6 1/2' bed with the gate down, the tie downs broke and the Z1 rolled onto the interstate at 70mph.
I drove 2400 miles round trip in two days to purchase a motorcycle some years back. It sat just fine for the 1200 mile drive back in the truck.
