"19° Super Tenere/Adventure/BMW LC " are the ones I ordered. They were recommended by Fasst. You can have them tapped by Fasst if needed. I do them myself and it takes about 20 minutes to do both sides with a tap, and cutting oil. Aftermarket bars do not come tapped. The stockers were tapped from the factory to accept the stock end weights.

It has been a great upgrade. I'm very happy with this setup.

Thank you sir! Been thinking about it, especially after yesterday, rode 340 miles, more than 200 off road and the potholes and rocks started beating on my wrists a bit.

Thanks again for the info!

Defekticon, did you have to extend the electrical cables for the throttle or controls? I have the heli riser which came with the brake extension but will need to get one for the clutch. Do you know if anyone makes the electrical cable extensions or longer wires? I need my bars to come back a couple inches so I can take the pressure off my shoulders. I have to get rid of the stock bars ASAP!

I just ordered my Fasst Flex bars. I hope they stop my shoulder pain! I will report after I get them installed!

I installed my Fasst Flex Bars. They are mounted in Helibars risers. I only have about five hundred miles on the bars but I can already see a difference. I do notice a little more forearm pump but I prefer that to pain in my shoulders. I went with the adventure bars with a 15 degree sweep. I was able to get the factory grips off and reuse them. I forgot to mention that I ordered my bars from Slavens racing for $287.

It doesn’t move your handle bars back much if any. If it did you would probably need longer cables or at least need to re-route them. It does greatly improve the sweep angle. Remember, the flex of the bars should be parallel with the movement of the shocks. If you need to bring the bars closer you may be able to use Rox risers with the Heli risers. I’m not sure if that will change the angles too much or not. So far just changing the sweep helps a lot!

longer cables are not a problem. maybe the addition of rox risers and fast flex bars. this gives me something to think about. maybe some one has done this and will chime in.

HI all, just sharing my experience. For reference I am 6'4" with the seat in high position. I just installed the Pro-Taper Adventure bars on my 2014 (part 024026, the "Adventure" not the "Adventure High"). I previously had the stock bars with 1.5" riser block, but the bend bothered my elbows and shoulders. I thought I'd want to keep the risers and use the lower bars, but instead I installed just the bars without risers. They put the grips at roughly the same height as before, but with less sweep and a neutral angle for me. I did not cut the bars. I did have to tap the ends as mentioned in other posts, using a cheap tap I purchased on Amazon. 16mm x 1.5 (link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K21XMV3). Pretty straightforward with a vise and hand tools if you take your time.

Getting the left grip off was a chore but with compressed air, soapy water in a spray bottle, and a long flat screwdriver I got it off with only mild language. Heating element does still work afterward so it was successful.
I opted to drill the 3 locator holes in the new bar, using the old as a reference, thus keeping the existing locator nubs on the controls. It turned out fine.

End result seems much more neutral and comfortable. I can stand full height. Very happy and ready for my next multi-state tour.

Hi all, is there any reason these will not fit a Gen 2 S10. Thanks.
Could the rearset cause the grip to hit the tank? OE is real close to the tank, and, after looking at my bars today. . . . if the bars are pushed toward the tank any further. . . .I think the grip could hit the tank.
