I am trying to get an idea of what people might want. I think LEDs have come a long way and now is a good time to buy for the install. Since everyone has different ideas on mounts, I left that out of the equation.

Denalis here but only if they are the new D2s that are coming out - 70% brighter and the option to wire up at 50% intensity for low beams and 100% for high beams - sounds like a great solution.

I kinda like the big, 5 led prime to use as a cyclops under the main lights. 8)
Interesting, according to that website the new D2 type lights produce 860 lumens while the D1 types produce 800. That's not exactly 70% more light. This seems to support another member's observation that it must be the reflector design that is increasing the output, but I'll admit I'm somewhat skeptical about a 70% gain.

Are they switchable between the two intensity levels? If so, that would be very cool!

Don't know - I'm assuming since it states you can switch from 50/100 via the Highbeam - there's either a switch or wire and if only a wire, should be easy to add a switch.

Yeah... I didn't see the lumens rating.... I'm a big HID fan after having them on my ST1300 so it's going to take a great light to push me that direction. I could care less about power draw as the S10 shouldn't have any issues with that.

Page 71 of the printed catalog. They 'look' like the soltice lights but not sure if they are really the same.

I can see that everyone wants something different. Hmmm, so maybe a group buy will not work on these. I am sceptical about the d2's being that much brighter than the d1's, but I have to trust that thats the deal. I think it is the reflector though. The price of the d2's make me rethink that as an option.

"Group Buys and Club Discounts

TwistedThrottle.com currently offers a 10% discount when a group orders at least 15 similar items or $3,000 (before discount), whichever is greater, of an individual TwistedThrottle.com product. Group discounts are not offered for one or two individuals fully outfitting their bikes who spend a total of $3,000; rather, group discounts are reserved for groups that are ordering items to outfit at least 15 motorcycles through one order to TwistedThrottle.com.

All products must be shipped to the same address in order to qualify for a group buy discount. Items ordered through a group buy may, if defective, be exchanged for a like item; however, items ordered through a group buy cannot be returned for a refund or exchange for a different item. Such exchanges of defective items may only be made by the person organizing the group buy.

All products must be charged to the same credit card or paid for via a single money order or certified check in order to qualify for a group buy discount.

Outside of this group buy policy, TwistedThrottle.com does not currently offer a discount to members of any Internet discussion groups or motorcycle clubs.

Those interested in arranging a group buy should contact TwistedThrottle.com in advance and place the order over the telephone."

Referring to the above quote, I'm not sure you'd want to mess with Twisted Throttle on a group buy. Looks like too much hassle.

WOW! Are those street legal? That is a very impressive demo. I wasn't really even thinking about adding extra light, but that is pretty convincing.

I think the D2 and the Solstice prime 10 watt are the same light.

If you download the TT catalog you can find them there. That was the only place I could find them.

I thought the same thing, a little too much risk for me. There are vendors that will allow for a group buy done differently than that.

I wish I knew this was goingto happen I already bought the Solstice Solo 2 from Vision X Superstore . They should be on my shelf in the next couple of days. They are the same as the Denali's and cost less. They just don't come with the plate to put 2 of them together, come with 1 lense. Plus you don't need 15 people and ship them all to one place.
