I just wanted everyone to know, that 20Valves (as he was known on the forum) passed away this past Sunday morning. He was a great guy, excellent rider and enjoyed life to the max. Mack had numerous bikes, from Yamaha R1's (which he raced) to a TMax scooter. He enjoyed his Tenere and FJR most of all. He was a good friend to most of us here in the Oklahoma City, OK area and will be missed greatly.

I don't want to say Good Bye, so a simple "see ya later" will have to do for now...

Sad news. I didn't know him on a personal level but enjoyed his company on this forum. He will be missed! Will pray for his family

RoboCop,

Put it in your own words, but let them know they truly are in the prayers of a stranger(s). Folks they'll never meet, but that are thinking of them.

Wow, I am just coming back from a trip to find this. Like RoboCop and others, I've "known" 20valves in this virtual world on both the FJR and Tenere forums for a long time (10 years?).

Please let his family know that he will be missed and his leaving saddens people he never met. Even when we could not see the body language, his heart and care came through. Prayers for him and them.

This is from 20valves on April 4th 2012 that I have never forgot. Very funny.

Mine sounds like two skeletons screwing in a trash can sometimes but runs like a honey and with my helmet on and ear plugs in it's very quiet. Mine is 100% stock with about 7K miles and is running great: uses no oil, gets great mileage and runs smooth in the cruising range. And with a mild state of tune and 7,750 rpm redline, I bet the valves on this engine stay in spec for a long time. YMMV 8)

Sad to hear this, 20 Valves was always fun to ride with. Hell of a rider and even a better person. He will be missed.
