Do you still have this ? If so, can you see what it might cost to ship to 89117. Also, if still available, any chance you could show a picture of the mounting holes. I assum eit doesnt come with any mounting hardware ?

Thanks, Stephan

Yes, I still have the shield. I'll be in Daytona this week for Bike week and be home next week sometime, so I can't send any pics or find out about shipping costs. The shield easily mounts to original mounts with original hardware. If you haven't already, check out the GIVI website. GIVI didn't post any instructions for the shield, but it is a simple 4 screw installation. Just don't tighten them too tight. Hope this helps and I'll contact with the shipping costs. Thanks for the enquiry.

Thank you and enjoy bike week. I am not sure whether I have the original mounting system or not as my bike came with a Cal Sci windshield. The stock almost fits, the 2 main holes on each side fit, but there are little plastic pins on the mounting bracket that are supposed to fit into small holes on the windshield which the stock doesnt have.. so I assume I have an aftermarket system. Yes Ive checked out the GIVI site.

I believe we left it where you would check on the shipping costs to 89117 once you were back from bike week (how was that BTW). So, pending the amount of the shipping I am interested still

WOW!!! Just checked with UPS. $90. I'll check with USPS tomorrow. The box is light and the dimensions are 24x24x9.

Bike Week was good. Weather was great but the Friday night flat track was rained out. Had to get back home to get some rest!!!

USPS more expensive! This is unexpected.
The box is 24x24x9. Its light but has size so I can cushion and pack the windshield. I was told money can be saved by making the box smaller, but due to the size of the shield not$90 smaller.

Any other ideas?

I just ran the numbers through all my shipping accounts and $90 was the going rate everywhere. I have a Goldwing seat I was going to post on some Goldwing sites, but after seeing this I'll have to try to meet a buyer somewhere in my area. It would probably cost $200+ to ship something that big. These shipping rates have gotten stupid.

Yeah, Ive only shipped things one or two states over and Fed Ex ground was affordable, but $90 for a $75 item is not realistic for me. I appreciate you looking into it
