Hi, guy I’m thinking of upgrading the top box from Yam OEM to GIVI and still keep the OEM side pannier.
Reason, not enough storage and for passenger back rest
WHich top box you recommend that i can still open the side pannier lid easily, and not affect too much the aerodynamic of the bike.
46 litter, or 52 litter, ??

Thank you

Here's my Kappa KGR52 Monokey top case, which is the same as the GIVI model. Fits two large full-face helmets. I've since added the backrest and I have the inner bag for it. I absolutely love it. You cannot open the side cases, but since it's quick release, it's quick to pop it off. Plus it provides extra security, keeping thieves from accessing the side cases. Those OEM side case locks don't seem too robust to me.

Hi Lucky 13, is the top case rack made of aluminum or hard plastic? I have a smaller monokey top case but the rack is hard plastic and im worried about it becoming flimsy due to offroad riding.

Any thoughts?

It looks like he might have an SR371 rack kit....but could also be an SW Motech since they are made similar. If Givi..he may have the M5 plate that comes with the mounts in SR371 kit or mabe the M8A alloy plate.

Simple answer is...whatever top case...to fit with Yammy side cases so the lids can open...top case width needs to be no more than measured width of passenger grab handles or check width of Yammy top case (but its not recommended to use top & sides together for load limits)

I purchased this GIVI heavy duty black anodized aluminum rack. Very sturdy and looks great. No brackets came with this rack though. Had to buy the nylon plastic rack that came with brackets, then sold the plastic rack on Kijiji. Givi products SR371 and SRA2101.
