GIVI 48 liter panniers

There’s a pair of 48 L GV outback tracker NEW pannivers for $1069 Canadian. Comes complete with locks, mounting racks are extra. Sounds like a really good deal. However, while lI like having large bags, this would be very wide. I inquired about a 37 L bag on the exhaust side, with 48 L on the right side. The pricing skyrocket another $300!

48 L on either side would make the bike very wide. Anybody know how I can calculate the overall width?

I have the 37L (on the exhaust side) and the 48L set up.
Measuring from the outside of the 48L to the outside of the 37L, the overall is just about 41 1/4".
Add 3 more inches if you would use both 48L.
Also, from the outside of the 48L right box to the center of the bikes taillight is 21".

And, I got mine from MotoStorm in Italy for $800us.
This included the 37L, 48L, the racks and a 3 keyed alike lockset. Silver set.

$800 US… That’s a great deal! Price I quoted above is for black and includes locks, but does not include the racks. The racks are $320 Canadian.

If you buy the same size bags (48L) you will get the 3 set locks included. The oddball set only gets you the unmatched locks that come with the bags. I think the 3 lock set was only $30. If you go to their website make sure you check the outlet store. Sometimes at least one of the bags are on sale in there even cheaper. Shipping took about 10 days. I've geared up at least 5 of my bikes from them since 2013, never any issues.

I just read a number of reviews from ADV rider, and they’re not very good. Issues ranging from incorrect delivery, to FedEx surcharges, different locksets and damaged bags.

Did you order your bags recently? Pricing seems high and there is no racks included.

I just purchased in December for this bike. Pricing on there website as follows:
48L black bags in the outlet store for $612 / not in the outlet = $650
PL2119CAM mounts $161.86
Shipping is $32.

If you went with the right 48L bag $330. Left 37L $322 = $652
Add lockset $40. Higher than I thought. I got mine from the outlet at the time and it was cheaper.

And I went with the silver bags which were cheaper. I paid the extra for the black ones on my DL1000 and regretted it once they started getting scuffed up.

I have had great luck with my purchases from them in the past. Would not hesitate to purchase from again.

FYI.....My DL with the 48L was over 48" wide.
